Winfield is a progressive city that hasn’t forgotten its roots. Since 1980, Winfield has been involved the Main Street Program. Through this program the historical downtown area is being revitalized and preserved for future generations.

Winfield actively recruits new industry to complement its existing employers and to create a better standard of life for its residents.

State of the art health care is provided at Winfield Carraway Hospital. In recent years seven new medical specialties have been added, as well as, numerous qualified new physicians to the medical staff. Carraway boasts the completion of a new cancer center and wellness center in the past year, and is looking forward to providing the area with excellent health care.

The city’s family oriented values shine each September as the annual Mule Day festival attracts some 20,000 people. Arts and crafts, flea markets, a parade, a car show, and mule judging are some of the activities to be enjoyed.
